** Motivation for Weight Loss- A Few Quick Tips **

In this short video, we’re going to dive into a few simple things you can do to keep your motivation up during long-term goals like weight loss. Because even if you have the best strategies on nutrition, workouts, supplementation, etc…, if you don’t have that extra push in your motivation, it’s going to be even more difficult to stick to them long term. So here are some helpful motivation boosters for you.

#1 Remember your “why” (0:55)

This is easily the most critical step you need to take when building your motivation. This is your rock solid mission statement where you lay out all the reasons why weight loss is a top goal for you right now. You need to unwrap the deeper reasons as to why improving your health is absolutely essential. When you write this down, you’ll always have a concrete foundation to reignite your motivation for weight loss.

And because things can change over time, it’s a great idea to revisit and rewrite your mission statement every 30 days.

#2 Take Some Time to Recover (2:13)

Whenever life or work is throwing too much your way, and you can’t dedicate 100% focus to your weight loss plan… take a small break. Ease off the gas a little. Because it’s much better to skip a few workouts than it is to drive yourself to the bone and zap your motivation.

Another key here is making sure you’re getting enough sleep. This is especially important when dealing with stress, so it’s okay to skip a couple morning workouts in favor of sleep to get through a stressful week.

Now, while workouts can be pushed aside, it’s still a good idea to stick to your healthy eating during this time as best as you can. For one, you won’t have to deal with extra weight gain in the near future, and secondly, a good diet is paramount for dealing with stress.

#3 Get Involved With A Community (3:56)

The accountability of a community is key for your long-term motivation for weight loss. Because if you’re on your own, you’re missing out on the extra accountability partner and it’s much easier to fall off track.
